Winner of the prestigious B-Jazz International Competition (Belgium), Igor Senderov is a jazz saxophonist and a graduate of the Saint Louis College of Music in Rome, where he studied under the legendary saxophonist Rosario Giuliani.

Having performed at leading European festivals – including Umbria Jazz Festival (Italy), Getxo Jazz Festival (Spain), Brașov Jazz & Blues Festival (Romania), and Eddie Lang Jazz Festival – Igor now arrives in Israel with a brand-new quintet: Igor Senderov Quintet.

The concert will feature original modern jazz compositions from Senderov’s debut album Verso la luce, set for release in September 2025 and recorded in Italy under the renowned Alfa Music label. Additional original pieces by Yuval Drabkin and other band members will be performed, arranged uniquely for two saxophones – creating a rich, deep, and colorful musical experience.
